What Openwake is, beside what you already have.
Openwake records what your people, devices and agents actually send to AI providers and applications, identity by identity, without capturing content, and puts the provider's own declared terms beside it. That is a different job from rating a vendor from the outside or blocking a category of website. Here is how it lines up.
Openwake vs UpGuard
Outside-in security ratings and vendor questionnaires beside inside-out observation of AI usage. Different questions, honestly compared, with pricing side by side.

Those tools sit on the network path and decide by category, often by inspecting traffic. Openwake sits with the identity: it sees which person or agent sent what kind of data to which provider account, classifies it on the machine, sends labels, and keeps content only when your evidence profile says so. Use a gateway to block; use Openwake to know.
Openwake vs a questionnaire
A questionnaire records what a vendor says once a year. The Openwake Registry reads the vendor's own documents every day, quotes every fact with its source and date, and tells you when a clause moved. Scout then shows whether anyone in your organization is actually using that vendor.
Three things nothing else on this page does.
- Every AI interaction is tied to a person or an agent, a machine, a provider and an account context (personal, company, approved workspace), and judged by your policy at that level.
- Data categories are labeled on the machine; by default only labels leave it, never prompts, files or keystrokes. Content is kept only when your organization turns the Evidence Vault on, sealed, and every reveal is recorded.
- Agents are first-class: agent sessions, tool calls, MCP servers and the providers behind them, on the same record as people.
